After I inquiry about a free estimate for a vineyard installation project, what comes next?
Before we break ground on a vineyard project, here's what to expect after you submit a request for a free estimate:
- We'll assess your proposed vineyard site and discuss the overall process, design, requirements, and budgeting for your vineyard project.
- We'll then provide you with a free 3D rendering of your project based upon the information we've received.
- Vines of the Valley Founder Cesar Roldan will take you on the Yucaipa Valley vineyard tour, and show you completed vineyard projects that are similar to your own. At the conclusion of the tour, Cesar will present you with the project estimate.
How does a vineyard installation work?
Each vineyard installation project is broken down into 3 phases:
- Land Preparation and Infrastructure: After we've identified your vineyard site, Vines of the Valley will prep your land for vinification, which could include but is not limited to grading, terracing, boulder removal, weeding, and much more. After the land has been fully prepped Vines of the Valley will create the infrastructure for your vineyard, installing trellising for cordon trained plants or supports for head trained plants.
- Irrigation: After the vineyard infrastructure has been created, Vines of the Valley will install your custom irrigation system for your project.
- Planting: Once infrastructure and irrigation have been completed, it's time to plant your vines. Planting season is April-May, so if your infrastructure and irrigation get's completed beforehand, we will wait until the spring season to fully complete your project.
How much will my vineyard installation project cost?
Every vineyard installation project is custom priced, based upon several factors such as acreage, design, current condition of the vineyard site, and a variety of other factors.
